Description: ConsolidDesign Assistant is a plugin developed for Rhinoceros to support the identification and redesign of part candidates for consolidation with additive manufacturing, which helps to bring numerous benefits such as reduced part count, shortened supply chain, and improved structural integrity. The design helps to semi-automatically identify parts out of a complex system and guides them throughout the embodiment design stage step by step.

Description:: With the rapid achievement of AM technologies, identifying parts that are eligible for AM as well as gaining insights on what added valued can be embraced needs to be modeled in an objective and transferable way. This tool aims at identifying the AM candidacy of a part or assemblies based on its economic feasibility and and potentials of AM-enabled benefits, featured by employment of machine learning and historical data.
